My stay at the resort was quite an experience. The surroundings are beautiful, and the access to activities made it enjoyable overall. However, the room decor felt quite dated, and the pool area seemed to require some updates. Also, the customer service was mixed; while some staff were pleasant, there were others who didn't seem as helpful. It's a good base for exploring Kauai, but there are areas that need improvement.
